Meth in windshield washer tank? Level sensor?

Hello all I'm trying to get my aem methonal kit installed my plan was to use the stock level sensor and have it go off in cabin and tell me the tank is low on my cluster also.

I've hooked it up trying to test it both ways there's a brown/yellow and brown/red wire on the stock harness and, a brown and white wire on aem controller side.

When hooked up either way the car windshield washer fluid low on the dash dose NOt pop up I disconnect it completely and it pops up put in a cup of water without anything. it's gone works like it should. I'm thinking you can't tap the methonal controller to the cars wires without it geting Signal to tell car that it has fluid.
Maybe I should just get another sensor and drill a hole and have two sensors.

Anyone done this? People useing there windshield tanks?

are you using the windshield washer tank as your supply for the METH injection?

I put a float switch in my tank where the OEM level sensor goes. I then used a small relay with the oem wires connected to the normally closed contacts and the wires from the float switch supply 12vdc to the coil of the relay. You could easily do a double pole double throw relay to satisfy both the OEM input to the DIS and the AEM

Interesting I never thought of this being an option. I do still have the aem float sensor. I'm a little confused on how you explained you wired this I need to look at a relay again to understand

Where did you mount your pump?

I was thinking of testing the headlight washer pump wires. (Hot side only) To see if it gets constant voltage when key is turned. If that's case could tap into it for pump power :0 I already ran the controller wires though the fender heat shrink and all tidied up.

Don't forget to add a solenoid if your nozzle is post throttle body or if your nozzle is lower than your tank level. In that case (nozzle lower than tank) devil own makes a check valve that works as well in place of a solenoid.

Does your AEM need to see 12v when the tank is empty?? Or 12vdc when "not" empty? I think because u wired the OEM switch wiring in parallel with the AEM the car sees continuity through the AEM controller input.

This was my thought. Post up the wiring diagram for your controller and I'll make sure it's correct for your AEM

I tapped into my washer tank also for my WMI. Why not just go off the factory washer sensor that will pop up on your DIS when its low? Its 100x easier and cleaner looking.

What he wants to do. However meth doesn't conduct like washer fluid. And by the sounds of it his AEM needs to see low level for a fail safe as well.

Are you sure it's not conductive? Shouldn't be a problem if I'm mixing 50/50 or 60/40?
I just don't know if I should put 12v though there with meth I feel there's a reason it's very low amp to begin with /: lol
I just tried to get the oem washer sensor wire to make a relay click couldn't do it.
I have a float sensor from the aem kit might have to settle and run 12v to that and to relays after..

So I just ended up drilling hole right below the oem sensor and useing the float style switch that came with the kit I bought .
First the windshield washer sensor should kick in tell me on dash and then the aem.

Is anyone familiar with the green wire?
Was thinking of hooking that up to my n75? Keep from boosting when system goes low ?
