What's up with the sonar pings in the audio?

I like it. The seats are a little loud for my taste though.

I really want to like it....but I just don't. I don't feel any excitement for it at all. Besides the digital dash and the brakes there really isn't anything I like on it better than my B8.5 and that makes me a little sad. But I'm more than happy to keep mine for a long time

Yeahhhhh they done messed up .

Seats look kinda cool expect for that leather "strap" to pull the seat back? I mean the integrated lever handle on my S5 seats is more of a "audi" touch, hidden sleek and functional. Maybe the same guy who thought it was a good idea to put V6T on the fender lol? Style of the stock wheels are kinda cool, although the 19" seems kinda of small now of days on these larger coupes. Should have went with a 20" which the 2016 B8.5 S5 offers as a small priced upgrade.

I want to like it but i just can't honestly.

Those nice new big front brake calipers are nice though!

The seats and brakes look nice. Everything else is meh including the digital dash. Less screens and more analog guages.

I like those side s5 logos and seats look nice too. Nice sound on gear change aswell. Rear end seems OK. However i think that round looking front end kinda ruins the design, maybe a sharper nose (aston look) would have made it better. Brakes should also say S5 instead of S.

appearance-wise, I'm still not feeling it at all. A big step back from B8.5 IMO.
I bet that low-end torque feels delicious though.

The new seats, minus the straps that look like an afterthought look good, though the strap just totally ruins them making my "I like" list. The big brakes, OEM diffuser and OEM side skirts are the only things I like about the car. It'll be interesting to see what kind of power people pull out of these, being turbo VS. supercharged.

Love it. Can't wait to see it in person. It's not perfect by any means but to me the evolution makes sense. I'm not butt hurt about the front. Lesser automobile companies have taken or stolen design cues from luxury brands for years, it's to be expected. If you were to remove what most people are complaining about (hood lines/grill, badge on side, etc) then the complaint would be that Audi didn't move the platform forward enough and it would basically be a B 8.75.

I think they would look decent in gloss or matte black, but in alu-optic they look like garbage.

    I would have loved a b8.75

Saame design lines as previous year with slight tweaks here and there and an upgraded and updated interior would be greatttt

Completely agree. Audi was in a no win situation because of how great the B8 is. Slight improvements and tweaks would've made more sense in my opinion but then the complaints would've been how little was changed. As a pre-fl owner though I would upgrade to the B9 before the 8.5. It might not be to everyone's liking but It does have a new look while still retaining its theme and I suspect in person it probably "wows" more. Hell, I wasn't even that impressed with the b8 till I saw it on the road, would've never got one based on looking at pictures.

I definitely think the seats look cool. It sounds pretty nice too. Other than that I really don't like anything about it. The front is horrible and the back looks like a Volkswagen. The interior is very tasteless as well. Kind of shocked at how weak this car looks.

I don't think it's that bad. Ok, the fender/door adornment is awful but other than that, it's ok. Rear looks good. Front could be cleaner and I think the problem there are too many creases on the hood. Speaking of creases, the main body crease is a little weird how it's a very pronounced sharp edge that dips and comes up again with the rounded fender flares. Hopefully that's less awkward with RS fenders. After test driving the new A4, I'm not a big fan of the new gauge cluster. I too prefer analogs, but what was bad to me was how the cluster is actually canted forward to reduce glare so it makes for a weird angle to sit in and look at the gauges comfortably. Probably just takes getting used to.

from the one shot of the front end, looks like its suffering from a bad case of overbite.

one word for me ... underwhelmed
