    So dynamic, sport, hold down traction control button til everything turns off, left foot on brake right foot on gas, car only revs to 2 grand than bogs down.

    Is it because the car is 100% stock?

    This has nothing to do with the fact that your car is stock...
    You must be really stepping on the brake to get it to work. You must put a lot of pressure on the pedal, then mash the accelerator, let it get up to around 4000 then let it rip.
    I personally keep it in manual, but I'm sure you will get faster times in automatic

    for me its just. put in s mode, turn off traction, full brake, full gas, revs bounce at 4k, release brake

    make sure the oil is at normal operating temp. and make sure the wheel is not turned.
    you can launch in comfort mode so long as s mode is engaged

    That was the difference. Guess I wasn't pressing in the brake hard enough. Thanks.

    he used vcds to change the computer settings to show oil temps at all times on the info screen.

    Set Oil Temperature on all DIS Menus -
    --------------------
    [17] Instruments -> Long Coding -> Byte 10
    CHANGE: Tick Bit 1. Display Oil Temperature

    Hi all! New to the forums. Just purchased a pre-owned 2015 S3. I've noticed when using launch control that the boost guage fills but doesn't stay full. It throttles between 70-100% Is that normal? My main reason for concern is that I've been having trouble getting a sub 5-sec 0-60.

    Yup, normal response w/ LC, boost builds/bleeds on a cycle via the wastegate and/or diverter valve, I'm assuming it's wastegate controlled. I've noticed I get the best launch timing the release of the brake to the positive "upswing" just before it reaches full boost on the next to worthless gauge, 1 bar before max. Takes a little practice but the car definitely launches harder when you time it just right.
