When to change engine air filter? (ebay $20 off promo next few days)

Ebay is doing $20 off $100 on all car parts, so I was thinking if I needed anything. I'm getting close to 15k miles on the S6, does anyone know if it's time for an engine air filter change? Anything else useful or fun worth getting? Can't let a ~20% off promotion go to waste :)

I just had my 2016 in for it's 15,000 mile service yesterday and the rep said they change the engine air filter at the 30K mark. I will likely put a fresh one in way before that. That can't hurt.

Thanks. I gave the local dealership a call and they said they don't recommend replacing it until 55k miles or 6 years!

One way to increase the profit margin on AudiCare. It will probably still meet EPA smog requirements at 55k miles or 6 years, so Audi does not need to change it earlier.
