S3 holds higher revs when fully stopped and foot lightly on brake.

My s3 revs just lightly lower than 1k when in D mode and my foot is lightly on the brake. Once I press the pedal a bit harder then the revs drop about another 250rpm..

    has anyone else noticed this?

Yeah. I've noticed it makes a difference when taking off from a stop if you lift off the brake slowly to put it into the higher idle so the DSG knows it's time to go.

I seem to recall a thread on here or vortex talking about the lack of throttle/engine response from a stop and this seems to directly impact that feeling.
