Small squeak on bumps...suspecting brake change

    Hello, AZers!

I changed my brakes around 1,200 miles ago and all went great. I've changed many many brakes in the past, and nothing went unexpectedly. That is, until the past week or so. Around 1,000 miles in, I noticed when I hit bumps I can hear a light squeak, and I can't entirely seem to determine which wheel it's coming from...in fact it seems to come from multiple/all, as I'm really having a hard time narrowing it down.

I haven't taken the wheels off again yet, but at least a visual inspection looks fine. Nothing feels loose from external feeling, but it's obvious something needs adjusted.

BTW, the reason I'm strongly assuming the brakes is because if I am applying any brake pressure at all, the squeak doesn't occur. This squeak happens on even the slightest of bumps, but when I'm touching the brakes it does nothing.

Any thoughts from the crowd? Really racking my brain here!

It sounds like a metallic squeak, but it goes away entirely if I have any pressure (at all) on the brakes). Even just touching the pedal enough to light up the brake lights is enough to keep the noise down. The only thing I can think is a loose part, but a visual inspection showed nothing (with plenty of pushing and touching).

same issue here. mine is more of a thump/slap that chimes in even when hitting raised lane reflectors. it also seems to dissipate as soon as a little brake pedal pressure is applied. so i am curious...
