Coolant gets too hot before fan turns on

Hello Audizine. So as title states my coolant temperature seems to get uncomfortably warm before my radiator fans kick in. The torque app on my phone was telling me that my coolant is reaching 110c before my fans kick in to bring it back down to 100-105c. anything under 110c doesn't seem to turn on the fans. At least not at idle. When driving the coolant seems to stay around the 105c range but warms up when im stopped. My temperature gauge has never gone passed the half way point and temps never seem to go much passed 110c. Fans bring it down before it gets too far north. Anyone have any idea why im experiencing this? Idk how accurate the torque app is but I dont have access to vcds at the moment (laptops at my brothers). ill probably go over there later to double check temps.

Edit: Forgot to say its an 2003 A4 3.0 Quattro 6 speed. Thanks in advance. Also its super hot here in cali today. Mid 100s where I live.

110 C is within the normal temp range.

Oh is it? Tried googling but couldn't find out what other people's temps where. 110c just seemed high. Thank Diagnosticator.

Also, the gauge is programmed to stay in the same place over a wide range of temperatures. It only goes high if you are really, really getting hot. Lots of manufacturers do this, not my favorite feature.
