    Hi ALL!
    New to this forums so wanted to post a quick intro.
    I am 36, live in the GTA and have been a VW / AUDI enthusiast for a while.
    Owned an '01 GTI and an '07 GTI with some mods on each.
    Most recently I owned an '04 Allroad 6spd which was a fun utility car.
    A week ago I realized my long time dream and bought my current baby:

    '07 RS4 @146K with the following mods:
    RS6 Grille (DIY)
    KW v1 coilovers
    JMH ECU Tune
    NICHE 19x10 Rims
    JHM Single-Mass Flywheel Clutch
    May be more (I am just discovering what's inside her lol)





    Looking forward to becoming a part of the community and joining for some local GTA events and meets.

    Welcome. Car looks great. I just hit 100K on my '07 so you're giving me hope. Were you able to buy a warranty? These cars can be stupid expensive to maintain.

    Went to Pacific Mall here in Toronto (asian import goods focused mall) and they had this B7 holder for $75CAD (about US $50)
    A bolt/sleeve screws on to the tow hook bolt and adjustable bracket screws onto the sleeve...
    Assume can be found on ebay too...

    It looks like the gominigo, which I have. is the bracket offset?

    Ah, prob a Rho-plate then. Be careful with that swivel bolt on the end, they malform and break.

    Ya not the best quality undortunately. Just wanted something quick to mount my plate on...
    Will look for a more permanent solution over time.
    Wish Canada allowed driving without the front plate....

    Thanks for the suggestion. The way I understood the thread, the magnets option require a filler plate that I do not have due to a one piece rs6 grille on my car. Am I understanding correctly?

    I've seen some guys place the magnets (need to be smaller) behind honeycomb. Just won't be as strong... More for street parking and such.

    I was lucky enough to buy the car with it ( thank you previous owner)
    I love the look and didn't have to go through the work myself though did similar dremmel projects before for friends cars. So looks wise you should imo. Especially if you are up to the work and the expense of the donor RS6 grille. It does have a small piece broken out from a rock I guess so I am planning to glue in a grommet or something to make it look like a tow hook opening or something.

    Wasn't happy how the front plate stood out in contrast to the car so added a tinted cover and a frame to smooth out the look. Much happier now. Curious what you guys think....

    I like how it's all blacked out. And planning to also do a Cupra or carbon lip next year. Not a fan of the rims tho.

    Everyone keeps talking about the front plate holders...have you guys seen these before??? I've ran them before (havent put it on my RS yet) and they are awesome. Hide it when you don't want it, pull it out when you need it. They even have a motorized version hahaha.
