LPFP upgrade

Hi there,

I need to replace my Low pressure fuel pump and it seems like the DW300 is the way to go. Can anyone provide a buy link because there are different models available.

Or if there are other options let me know.

You might wanna look at getting a stock fuel pump instead. The biggest reason is because you will lose your surge capabilities.

If you need to upgrade down the road then just get an RS4 controller. This will increase the voltage to the pump to make it flow more.

I will keep this in mind. So the controller is what needs to be updated when adding power?

This is correct. The stock fuel pump is good for around 400hp. I have not personally tested it's limit but that's what I hear.

Upgrading the controller should make pump good for 500hp+


Also note that you will need to make sure your tuner is aware of the controller upgrade as the tune will need to be adjusted.

Just wanted to clarify that ing a RS4 lpfp controller does not add current to the lpfp. Nor does it increase the flow of the stock lpfp. All it does is brings down the duty cycle threshold so it doesnt trigger a cel and code p0089 and throw it into limp mode when your ingunder wot. memberSeal66 has a ed TT-RS lpfp that he runs for his E85 tune with a KO4. If you really need a lpfp you can pm him for more details

Do you have a link for that pump? Because on their website I'm getting DW65v is the one for 2.0fsi engines.

I know the DW pump is significantly cheaper but both APR and USP advertise a higher flowing pump. No details of the pump listed on the respective websites however.
