It's for Audio Concert and Audi Symphony radios with the B&O system. The Bang & Olufsen system was an option whether you had navigation or the regular Audi Concert like I have in my P+. This amplifier is for cars without MMI.

This amp can also be used to retrofit B&O in a non-B&O car. I know people swap the B&O system into cars that did not originally have it, but I'm not familiar with the details of that upgrade so you'll have to do some research. O know people usually do the speakers, speaker grills and amplifier, but other parts might be needed.

    1. Will not work with any car that has MMI (there is no MOST fiber optic connection on the Amp)

    2. Audio Pin outs for B&O and non B&O are different, so not plug and play if you had Non MMI standard Audi concert or symphony radio.

    3. If you have B&O non MMI, you just plug, then remove component protection, then play.

Thanks for the helpful info, with one correction - component protection is not relevant for this part I'm selling. Component protection applies to the radio in the dash; not speakers and amplifiers. Speakers and amplifiers can be swapped between cars without issue.

So this would actually be the amp for someone that wants to do the B&O upgrade to an Audi Concert or Audio Symphony equipped car. Sounds like it will require slight wiring changes for the upgrade.

So, if I already have the B&O system in my '10 S Line non-MMI/No Nav, this should just plug n play correct? Any add coding of password protection that needs to be done once installed?

Yes, should be plug and play without any coding required or component protection issues to hassle with.
