Code Details
Keep getting the following code since receiving new tune:
17585/P1177 - Bank2: O2 (Lambda) Correction Behind Catalyst: Control Limit Reached
Used to accompany P1176 (same description as p1177 but on bank one), however, this code has not come back in many hundreds of miles. This code is really ticking me off I just cant seem to get to the root of the cause. Usually code stored without CEL but every now and then the CEL pops on. No other codes. Car idles smooth and no misfires.
Tried Remedies
- Passed Pressure test. Pumped to 15psi and Found minor leaks (small bubbles from soapy water) in the charge lines but those have been rectified.
- Exhaust was welded together so there are no leaks between sections. Vband clamps are tight and aluminum 034 gaskets are being used.
- MAF swap from one of my parts car.

Plans for Diagnosis:
- Use seafoam to try to uncover any possible leaks between downpipe and turbo.
- Replace PCV (under manifold). Maybe even rebuild or replace the spider hose.
