How to edit contact stored in car via MMI?

I have an Audi A6, and it's killing me trying to figure out how to edit a contact that's stored in the car's directory.

I know it's in the car's directory because it shows up with the little car icon, and because it shows up even when no phones are connected via bluetooth.

However, when I select the contact, there's no options to edit it. The only options are:
Address -> navigate
Coordinates -> navigate
Read contact -> just reads the name
Send contact -> disabled (no phone conneccted)
Delete contact
Send message -> disabled

And the only hardware buttons avavilable are:
navigate
call (disabled)
settings -> Seems like this is settings for MMI, not the contact


So how do I edit the contact? For example, changing the name, changing the address, etc.?

I'm slow today... but what do you mean? I'm trying to edit a contact that's stored on the car, not the phones...?
