I'm looking into installing a test pipe on my 03 A4 1.8t will it throw any codes? Would it be fine when inspection comes up?

    What do you think?

I am going to remove a part of my emissions system that has sensor on either side to monitor said components efficiency, do you think my ECU will notice?

If the above sounds like a dumb question....it is your question reworded ;)

Unscrew the 02 sensors and see if you get any codes. If so, then those are the codes that you will get w/ the test pipe. Also, test pipe is okay, but test pipe+tune = better.
If I was going to do one or the other, I'd definitely run a mild tune with stock cat/exhaust. It makes a huge difference (at least the tune I have does) even without the testpipe.

Yes you will get codes and yes your inspection (readiness monitors) will be affected.
