Quick Question about center controls.

Newbie here with the B8's however I see some of the cars have the Nav/Radio/Screen controls on the center console and some on the dash above the AC controls. What is the difference or why is this such? Only asking because I'm shopping around for a B8 and just sold my B5.

You want it on the center console. Better MMI/nav

It's the Audi MMI Nav plus package when the controls are down by the shifter near your hand. Get it if you're in the hunt. It helps with resale and is nice to have. It's a pain not to be able to switch controls when it's above the shifter.

You can look in the mmi screen and it will give you the option to adjust it or you can look under the rear for it. It looks like this.

Get the vin and call AoA and they can tell you every option it has. You can also ask them to email you the window sticker. You need to go into the mmi and under car settings look for the sports diff selection.

No, it does not. My '14 has the Drive Select button but does not have Sport Diff.

No, these are two different options. Definitely get the MMI, but the Sports Diff is personal preference. There are pages and pages of arguments pro/against a Sports Diff. Drive both and see what you like. I have owned both and prefer it without. Again, personal preference. Also, one less thing to break.
