Listing my wheels for sale again. I have since purchased new wheels. Originally there was a little rash on the tip of one spoke on one wheel and I decided to have them completely re-done. I just had them refinished in a Prismatic Color 'COAL' and they look AWESOME!!!. Coal is a fine texture finish. The color is a very dark charcoal/soft black and has a really cool prismatic fine flake in direct sunlight. The actual color is a bit darker than the pictures show, I took the photos in really good light....Believe it or not these wheels are now in better condition then when I purchased them new. Forgestar's powder coating sucks and when my guy put the wheels in the bath to strip them, he said that they took about 12minutes per wheel which indicated that they just coated them with no type of primer or zinc under coating(shame on them). The finish was meh from the time that I received them initially, and they gave me a small break on the 5th (spare) wheel as a form of acknowledgement. Since I had the one repaired (they welded aluminum and re-profiled the tip of the spoke and not "liquid metal epoxy"..), they checked all 5 wheels and they are perfect and straight. They come with cone seat lugs, 2ea extra center caps and they do use hub centric rings 66.6m (so if you are thinking of another application you could get new rings from Forgestar)

This specialized process begins with a low pressure type of casting and uses a special machine that spins the initial casting, heats the outer portion of the casting and then uses steel rollers pressed against the rim area to pull the rim to its final width and shape. The combination of the heat, pressure and spinning create a rim area with the strength similar to a forged wheel. During Flow Forming, the pressure applied to the cast rim actually changes its mechanical properties, so its strength and impact values become similar to those of a forged rim.
