Hey guys, quick question as i cannot find it on here or even other forums. Is there a way to set the recirculation button to turn on as a default when i run the AC? I set recirculation to ON in the MMI but every time i turn on the AC, the Recirculation button does not light up.

You can do it under Menu>Car>AC. If you leave it on recirculate all the time you A/C could start stinking, vinegary/oily smell. This goes for any vehicle.

I did this and it still doesn't keep the light on. i have to manually click it on. Like this image below how the recirculation is lit.

I've always driven with it on with AC especially when i drive through places where it smells like manure or skunk outside.

I can see why in smelly situations. Like you, I use to drive with it on but if you're a long commuter you may want to look into why its not a good choice to have it on for long periods of time, apart from it making your AC smelly.

I started getting the smell so I went into the settings and changed recirculate to off and now the smell has gone away. I am not positive but I think if you have it "on" in Menu-Car-A/C the the dash button does not matter. I had this issue in past vehicles. Now I just hit the dash button on windy/dusty days otherwise I leave it off.
