Cool Brief Introduction and a few questions....

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
My current project car is a 2015 Mythos Black RS5... currently owned the vehicle for a year and enjoyed it stock for awhile but, now is the time to start the modifications....

My instagram name is @ShaneKucyk for anyone interested...

So far I have only suspension work and some cosmetic stuff...

    • HP Drivetech Front Air Struts
    • Accuair Rear Bags
    • Billstein Rear Shocks
    • Accuair E-Level Management
    • Dual Air Zenith OB2 Compressors
    • 3 Gallon Tank

    • Painted Grilles Black
    • Painted Mirror Caps Black
    • Painted Front Splitter Black
    • Painted Window Trim Black

I have 3 Piece Forged Rotiforms on the way as well so wheels are already covered.
As far as questions go here are a few....

What are my camber solutions to get around -3 or -4 Front and Rear?
What are the best exhaust systems for the car? I wish it to be very loud, non-resonated and catless exhaust preferred.
Are there any performance modifications that will give me some good Horsepower/Torque improvement besides induction?

    Here are some pictures....

Dope. Welcome. As per camber, check out SPC arms, They allow somewhere in the -3 range, might be able to push further, not positive, but a place to start.

wow awesome RS! If you want a loud exhaust go armytrix, capristo non res or a full custom 3 inch straight pipe with an Xpipe in the center exhaust. You can't go decat unless you swap headers btw

you can check the sound of my buddies RS5 with a custom exhaust on my insta @RS_Five

Not positive on the rear arms, but a friend of mine maxed his out right around -2.9 -3.0 on oem arms for the rear, guess his alignment guy worked some magic

From my understanding the rear arms aren’t adjustable

    The black looks great!

Factory rear adjustment will allow -3.0* camber. When you air out, there is about -4-5* camber at the front wheels. There's no reason to have that much front negative camber at your drive height, the car will be really twitchy at freeway speeds with -3* or more at all four corners. I felt a big difference with -3* at the rear alone, my fronts run stock camber so approx -1.5* at drive height.

K-Line is the only company that currently offers headers, but I would suggest the Milltek non-res unit if you want noise. The system is still valved, and retains the factory cats, but its a downpipe back system with a phenomenal note. I have one on my car.

I intend to get that much camber to fit the largest wheel possible under the arches, the car will no longer be used for performance as I have other cars I can track. This will purely be for show.

You'll have an easier time stuffing large wheels under the fenders than I did. These carbon ceramic boat anchors are no joke

Should be able to do a 20x11 with a low offset. My wheels are 20x10.5 et25 and I have some room between the wheels and fenders when I air out.. but I opted for a flush cruising fitment, and I did not want to cut up my fenders or run the risk of damaging them long term. Could trim the arch liners and make some more room for sure.

As far as width of the wheel your brakes really have nothing to do with that. I won't need to do anything with the fender liner as I've been riding very low and my tires have made a quick sloppy job of removing them without my assistance I'm also doing a convex face for maximum lip size. They should be done in 4-6 weeks and I'll get some pictures uploaded of it. Follow me on instagram @shanekucyk to keep up!

Width of the wheel no, but width of the lips yes. I'll make sure to follow!
