Finally Rs6 grill installed with a personal touch.

I love the RS grill with the Quattro script but as I always do I had the trim ring painted Glacier to match the car. I like how it closes the opening of the front grill area a bit better. The install went smooth with a lot of dremmel work to make all my cameras, radar and laser diodes look factory.

I planned on trying to open the housings to paint my Amber reflectors but once I started messing with them it appeared they are sealed better then other Audi models I've done it on. Ecodes would be great but at $4k for clear side reflectors I'm good! I had my painter shoot some Glacier on a roll of 3m vinyl and uses that to atleast mask the reflectors for now. It looks ok but I'll probably remove it. The vinyl is a good option on darker cars because you can't see the seams, on white and lighter colors it's to easy to see.

I had some extra vinyl left over so I trimmed out my door handle chrome as well. Next will be to wrap my rear diffuser and window trim as well. I'll most likely be removing all the vinyl of I'm happy with the way it turns out then have it painted Glacier as its a much cleaner and more durable.

Aftermarket but I used my OEM mounts for my camera's and sensors.

Just put a K & N filter in your RS7 airbox. It will be just as good and you won't have to go through the hassle of dealing with roc euro.

I'll probably do that first. I have no idea how air is getting through there with a big sock around the filter. What size K&N filter am I supposed to use? Anybody have a part number for the RS7 intake box?

And just FYI for everyone else, even my S6 airbox with a K & N filter, with two one inch holes in the top, makes a beautiful turbo noise when I gun it.

I do indeed and it makes a big difference, that along with other eurocode bits I have on there truly transforms the way the car performs. Expensive but worth it without a doubt.

I bought it through dubstop. It does come with the camera mounts but they look like shit in my opinion. I ended up removing my mounts form the OEM grill and using s dremel to retrofit to look like OEM. A lot more work but well worth it. You also have to trim some of the inside of the grill in order to get proper fitment.

Just a picture. I used a 1" circle cutter drill bit.

Any issues with your camera after the grill install? I just had one put on and they had to custom cut to use factory camera mount as well. Only problem is it aims a little high now so top view camera is no good now..

No problems at all. We spent a lot of time dremeling both the mesh on the grill and the mount itself so it seated exactly as it should. It helps that I had an Audi Master Tech who knew exactly how it needed to be oriented in the grill.

What are you using to protect the door edge? I can see the seam, but wasn't sure if it was a wrapped edge protector or a clear plastic push on?

I have the XPel protective film applied to pretty much the entire car.
