I have a 2009 S5 (V8) with 27K and a CPO warranty that will expire in Aug. I've had the following repaired/replaced under CPO warranty 1. Lane departure modules 2. Intake manifold position switch bank 2 and replace intake flap drive unit. 3. Intake manifold cleaned. Other than this the car runs flawlessly even tho I'm still on OEM spark plugs and OEM brake pads ! I'm thinking about offering the dealership $$ to do a full inspection to see if they find any potential problems that can be taken care of under the CPO warranty?? What do you Audi guys think?? Thanks.

Sounds like a good idea. I think many people will do one final inspection before CPO warranty expires if they plan on keeping the car long term

Don't do an inspection at the dealer. Do it at a good Indy shop that specializes in Audi. Then take the results to the dealer.

Intake manifold position switch? I had my vacuum solenoid valve that sits right under the manifold fail on my 2010 recently at 70k. It controls vacuum to the runners 1-2 and connects electronically. Only problem I've ever had with the car. It gave me a p2006/p2007 code.

Runs tip top, in fact everyone says it looks new. I drive it 365 days a years rain snow or shine, but very OCD with it of course ;). Hand washes weekly no matter if it's 100 degrees or 10 lol.

It's been pretty reliable, I now do all my oil changes myself with a mighty vac. 27k is nothing on a 2009, my buddy has a 2008 that hit 100k recently, he's had it since 30k. Right at about 100k he needed a thermostat, other than that golden.

Oh and while my manifold was off my buddy who works at VW offered to do a carbon clean. He & I were both amazed the valves were in great shape, nothing out of the normal. Again at 70k miles, with just a few sprays the valves & walls were exposed to nice shiny aluminum while any carbon melted away. I only use 93 Shell or Mobil 1 gas. And give the car a Italian tuneup every so often on the highway to keep the carbon flowing ;)

Vanimal, Fault code P2019 "intake manifold runner position sensor/switch circuit bank 2 lower limit not reached, P0300 random multi cyl misfire, inspected and found old part number for intake flap drive unit is installed" as stated in the work order. Sounds similar to what you had done.
