Going to be selling my KW V3's soon if anyone is interested.

Hey guys! I'm going to be selling my KW V3 coilovers in the next week or so and replacing them with a new set. Bought them from another member so the life time warranty doesn't apply to me and the front passenger side needs a rebuild ($150 from KW and its only slightly leaking). As you all know, KW doesn't offer a replacement while they do the rebuild and I need my car as its my daily driver. I'm going to sell the whole set for $1250 shipped and I can ship the one that needs a rebuild to KW for you. Its race season so they said it'll take 2 weeks for the rebuild. I would even send both fronts in to get a refresh so they are both at the same rate. Let me know if anyone is interested.

So explain this; why don't you just fix the corner... Makes no sense to replace all if you ask me.

I went through all the options, trust me. KW said it could take 2-3 weeks for the rebuild once they received the coilover and I need the car for daily use. I can buy a new one for $900 plus shipping from Germany and could take 3-4 weeks but they highly recommend I get 2 new ones if I go this route. So I'm already looking at $2000 just for 2 new fronts. I got the coilovers used from another member for a great price so figured Id get a new set of V3s or try out the Bilstein PSS9s. I see that Bilstein will send out a new coilover if one is damaged unlike KW. This way someone can get my set and rebuild the fronts before the install.

    Thanks for this information.
I think I'm going to have to go through the same thing here pretty soon.

Take a look at BC Racing. They make a high quality damper with swift springs. I've had a custom valved/spring-rate set on my B7 S4, and a set waiting to soon be installed on my RS.

You really should rebuild all at once...

I went with 14k front and 22k rear springs, as I plan to see the track with my RS4.
