I have a 2005 A4 1.8t 5 speed. I'm having wiring issues. I traced down a wire that is completely burned out and I don't even know what color it is. I've been trying to find a connector pinout for it. I plugs into the body control module, it's the connector with all the wires. Can anyone help me out.

I figured out it was a ground wire. It was a brown and black wire. My new issue is that it is glowing hot and smoking. It makes the headlights and everything come on but it is burning up instantly

It's the brown wire grounding my headlights, tail lights, horn, windshield wipers, etc. It's under the dash to the left and plugs into the control module. I can't find the option to post the picture.
