    Ac compressor went out

Took it to a shop to get it replaced with a newer one. Seems like it's not cooling like it should from before it went out. Next day took it to work (20min drive) and air from outside was cooler than what the ac was putting out. Is there any calibration that needs to be done with the climate control module when replacing the compressor?

Run Basic Settings in the HVAC controller channel 001, using VCDS. This will reset all the servo motor travel end point calibrations, and will often remedy temp control problems. Rerun occasionally as needed.

Thanks for the reply, so swapping compressors isn't just enough?

Shop is saying that the fan might be underpowered that's causing it not to cool? Does that make sense?

That doesn't make sense. If you swapped in a working a4 b6 compressor, I would follow diagnosticator's recommendation before anything else.

what would be the next step if that doesn't work? I thought the compressor was just plug and play.
