I know there is already a K04 thread. However, I wanted to create a Q&A thread dedicated to HPA Motorsport’s K04 setup since they are a newer, but very cost effective player to the B8/8.5 K04 space. I just ask that if you don’t care for my thread, out of respect for others who may be interested, don’t post.
A few weeks back, an AZ member posted a link regarding HPA’s kit. It struck my interest so I researched and made a few calls. It turns out that HPA is a little under 3hrs from Seattle and is a full boutique tuner shop. What makes this project so exciting, is that my 2015 allroad will be the first B8.5 they have installed the kit in. Yes, there will be some custom fabrication. To what extent, I will find out once things are taken apart and dry fitted. However, with 25 years of experience under their belt, I have full confidence in their abilities.
It’s 5am PST and I am officially on the road to HPA. I’ll update this thread along the process.
Took me about 3 hours to get up here. HPA is a First Class shop as they gave me the full tour and made me feel very welcomed! For my needs, I decided to go with their K04 kit and 200 cell downpipe. Since I run e85, I did not bother with the manifold. HPA does have a tune, but unfortunately, it is not setup for e85. Once the install is complete, I'll be heading over to PG Performance for APR's K04.

Here is the down-pipe made specifically for my AR and what it would look like for the B8/8.5. You can't really see it, but trust me, the craftsmanship is incredible.
The turbo is off and the lines are being swapped over as we speak. On the RIGHT, is the stock, LEFT is HPA's K04. The most profound difference is the exhaust port to the IC and DV placement. HPA's kit includes everything you need and again, the craftsmanship of the pieces is outstanding.
