    New Car Paint Correction

So my wife and I just took delivery of her F Pace S we ordered in December. The idiots shipped it on the truck backwards so the dealership said they spent a good amount of time cleaning off bug guts.

Is there any recommended time to wait to clay/polish a new car? It was built at the end of April, so it's been almost 2 months.

You are good to go. Buffing/polishing can be done almost immediately on new paint (and is done at the factory).

It's waxing/sealants and clear bras that typically have a recommended 30 day safety period, as those can fill the pores in the paint and not allow it to fully cure properly. Even that is more of an issue on re-painted cars/panels. By the time a car hits the dealer, the paint is ready to go!
