    Kustom Imports Lil Bit@h

So I received my KI lil bitxh crank pulley and wanted to post a few pics and show off the nice billet piece. This is the smaller of the two offered, but is still larger that the only other available crank pulley on the market. Shipping was fast, even considering it came from Canada. The kit contains a new 7 rib belt, 70mm idler, billet aluminum black anodized crank pulley and grade 12 bolts. It will require a little grinding of a mounting boss that is near the belt to prevent contact/shredding.

Without knowing the exact size of the 034 blower pulley I'm going to be running as of next week (they can either chime in or if they give me permission to release info I will add it) I should be near the 24k rpm limit based on my calcs using cts 57.02" as my reference. With my ported blower, my intake, KI crank pulley, 034 blower pulley/tune I should hit 10's come fall

wow this is getting confusing so JHM has one pulley, then fluidamper offer larger than JHM and oem size.. then those kustom import which have 2 size and both larger than JHM..

Size is cool, but if no tuner offer a tune for them ( beside epl based on the JHM size) i don't see the point of all these different size no ??

Someone is supposed to put a table together for us. I posted a lot of size specs in another thread.

As for tunes, I know fluidampr sent their od pulleys to a few tuners so hopefully we will see some tunes taking advantage of crank/sc ratios higher than 3.

That's awesome, I have one of the "Big Bitxhes" and I'm in Sac too. I'll post a pic of it next to the stock crank pulley tomorrow so people can see the contrast. Get that thing installed before the next Audi event at Sac Raceway next month. I'll try to do the same.

If you guys have a chance can you let me know the size of those in mm?

If I have time tomorrow I will put together a thread outlining pulley options.

You do this, I'll throw it in excel and graph it! I didn't even know this company existed, so I'm obviously not the right one to gather the info. Lol

Yea from what they have proven already, they are going to be a hard to beat! Best thing is that they actually have a B8 to test, tune, daily drive, etc, which helps work out all the kinks.

Yea it went from one option, to several.

It will only require a few tweaks to the ecu tune to prevent the addiontional psi or two of boost from being bled and adding a bit more fuel.

Here are a couple pictures of the stock crank pulley and the 194mm pulley. I weighed them this morning: The OEM pulley weighed 8.6 lbs, and the 194mm weighed 5.8 lbs. That's 33% lighter, even though it's a lot bigger.

That is very cool they are supporting this pulley! I just ordered mine, very excited for an extra 2psi over my current setup.

Those are my pics from my install. I assume Matt sent those to you? I have the big bitch. Make sure you grind before you install the pulley. You need to remove about a 1/16th" to ensure the belt remains clear.

B8.5 problem only from what I understand...which is why it wasn't previously discovered. I found it when I did my install about three weeks ago. I was waiting for Matt to confirm the issue before I broadcasted...but looks to be confirmed.

This is not really a problem.
Any pulley that is over 180mm my pulleys or another companies will need this modification done..It's very minor for the gains you will see..

It was a quick fix...and well worth the effort. Focus on the upper portion of the mount and you'll be done in about 10-15 mins with a dremel...that's taking your time and being careful.

Yes those were the pics Matt sent me to give me a heads up and I was just spreading the info for those interested. Knocking off a 1/4" from that mounting boss isn't a big deal at all...should take just a minute with a die grinder and carbide bit.

Please comment on your install when you complete it. I couldn't get the accessory belt on without removing the supercharger guide roller first. If I was aware of the grinding and the roller removal before hand, could have finished the whole thing in about 3hrs...took about 5 instead, but that included belt rub discovery, grinding and 30 minutes of fighting that accessory belt.

Some useful pics for others attacking this install.

Look at BlownOne's pics above, that's my install. The area is between pulley 1 and 4 in the diagram.
