    Tuning?

Who have people used or who do people recommend for a custom tune? I need to get a tune done for my 2.0L EFR 6758. I know some people can do remote tunes and other things. I might go with Maestro. But honestly, I don't care to terminally play with it. I just want it to run and be done.

    Thanks

I see your in Baltimore I'm up in PA we have a guy who done awsome! tunes. Ryan Horne or Eurocustoms you can look both up on Facebook or even google it. Facebook is the best way as he is extremely responsive through it. Nothing but positive feed back and I've experienced his tunes..like I said awsome. Check it out I'm sure he can help.

Contact Bische on here or facebook. Sam (613b6) also can remote tune maestro as well. Or united motorsports tuned Bryans car.

Motoza? They're big in the 1.8T game, and I think more and more lately they've been getting into BAT and 2L tuning.

He is good. Lately though, he's been kinda slow in responding.
Case in point: sent log on May 30. Dave responds (fairly quickly) on June 1, says my revision is on the schedule for June 2. Today [June 17] I sent a follow-up email since I hadn't yet heard back.

I noticed that he recently began supporting the newer 2.0T engines so maybe that's why?

I've also had pretty lengthy waits for hearing back from Dave. As far as I know he is currently without a coordinator/assistant.

I know motenza is supposed to be good. But the biggest Dave advertises as tuning for is a gtrs. Do you think he would do a EFR?

IMO, it definitely can't hurt to ask.

Yeah, I think the expansion to new platforms is slowing him down. I noticed his secretary isn't giving me a date on the schedule, but rather "you've been added to the schedule".

At this point I know I'm not a priority as my car is running extremely well on the 2nd revision. It's just some final tweaks before I take it to the dyno.

Everyone is stupid busy right now. I had Daz do my base tune and then his partner has been pretty slow to respond to my simple questions.

There are a bunch of tuners on the facebook groups Nefmoto, Audi and VW Maestro Tuning, and Audi Big Turbo.

Tuning is not my thing either. Ive done it but not at this HP level or complexity.

Wow that's interesting. I'm glad Motoza has a secretary that replies and puts you on the schedule. Dave did it all himself before.

I tuned my old 1G talon but don't have the time or patience to do it anymore lol.

So much easier to datalog and upload the files to my profile. He then uploads the revision and shoots me an email letting me know it's ready.

Then I download onto my phone, connect via bluetooth, and upload my tune while I check my fluids haha.

I'm not sure if Dave still has a secretary/assistant. I know Molly used to do it, but I haven't seen any contact from her since around January (all my contact has been with Dave).
BTW Dave "puts me on the schedule" and doesn't actually get to it for 1-3 weeks, often times he seems to require a reminder. Still haven't heard anything from him since being "scheduled" 12+ business days ago.

Does he get to yours pretty quickly after he "schedules" you?

I've gotten replies from Sarah Irish recently. Do you CC the Motoza Support address when you email him? I always do that and follow up if I don't hear from them in a couple days. Turnaround is usually give or take a week for me.

That was a month ago from Sarah. I also got a reply about being added to the schedule last week from "J". Whoever that is lol.
