While driving my 12 s5 during this heat wavers were having in the Midwest. Every once in a while when I'm at a stoplight with the air on my car will cut off but the engine will still be running but when I hit the gas it will only rev up and not accelerate. And when I put the car in park and cut the ignition off and cut it back on again everything functions fine. But I noticed that this only happens when I'm running the air conditioning. Does anyone know what would cause this to happen. Or has anybody else experienced this

Do you have your MMI unlocked so you can check your battery level? Sometimes the car may be running funky with the extra draw from the AC. When is the last time you had your battery replaced or checked? IF your mmi is unlocked you can access your batter level. Other wise you can have autozone check it for free.

Had Battery tested and it's fine
Anybody else ever have this issue before? And it doesn't do it all the time only once in a while

Could be your alternator on the way, or the belt is in rough shape. Either way should scan it to make sure there is no serious issues.

I'm in Saint Charles, stop by we can VAG the car and see if there is any codes. Intermittent problems are the worst!
