Newb with newb question - dash disassembly

First of all, great site! I spent a lot of time lurking before buying my completely stock B8 S4 a month ago and just recently joined. So far, I absolutely love the car and am trying to learn what I can here. After dumping way too much money into another vehicle, I'm trying to avoid the mod bug but this place doesn't make it easy.

On to my question........I tried searching and didn't find what I needed, but my apologies if I missed it. I know this is chimp simple and it's killing me that I can't quite figure it out, but I'm trying to avoid breaking anything (which I'm good at). How do you remove the center vents below the display? I already bought a trim / moulding tool kit and found some basic instructions, but was unsuccessful with my first attempts. Does anyone have pictures/videos or more detailed guidance that will keep me from effing up a simple job? lol

    Thanks in advance!

I'm going by memory here, but I believe there are holes on either side INSIDE the vents for a hook tool. You'll probably need to shine a light in there to see them. Many of the dash pieces come off in this fashion, by pulling from the inside rather than prying off.

Look at the installation document for the "ECS Vent Pod Boost Gauge Kit" on their website.
