Odd occurence, need some input

Just had one of my power steering lines go the other day, and then resulted in a no start condition, which seems odd to me.

Put in the remaining fluid that I had for it in, and waited overnight, it fired up normally for 3-4 seconds and died as the fluid spilled out.

Only ECU code was for a motor mount and a couple lean codes. I'm stock tuned with JHM Piggies and FI non res exhaust. Immo is working, FP is as well, plugs, battery, starter and ignition all good.

Can anyone shed some light on that??

that is odd, beacuse i has a PS hose go (reservoir return) and managed to get off the freeway with only burly steering strength required. the lean code is the thing that sticks out; there could be something like an intermittently shorting O2 sensor wire, but i'd expect some other codes to come with that.
