That is the goal! I will try to embrace the aluminum window trim as best as i can. I still prefer the black optic package, however to change the mirror caps which usually isn't cheap on top of spending $250 on getting the windows done can be put towards a possible front big brake kit in the future.

I think these mercury silver wheels and the aluminum window trim & mirror caps will tie in nice, especially after seeing Tommy's wheels in this color with his aluminum . I like to keep it uniform, as best as i can.

I went with the mercury silver. I to would like to know what i can protect them with before mounting. There is the option of having them ceramic coated, but maybe there is a cheaper DIY alternative. I clean my car every week so its not like i will let dirt sit on the wheels long

Mops, speaking of sonax have you ever used Sonax leather cleaner or their upkeep spray foam with the eraser?

I am currently using Adams total interior detail to keep my seats matte at all times. I can't stand that shine on leather!I know areo 303 has a good one, but i ask you what is the BEST to keep the seats matte in between full blown cleanings?

@Mops, after spraying it on the wheels, do you use a microfiber towel to wipe it down or some type of sponge applicator? I'm about to place a good size order from Adams so I want to make sure I get what I need to apply the Sonax as well.

Sean - Apply with a sock. I spray directly onto the sock and apply. Then I come back with a basic/multi-purpose MF to remove.

Mops is the opti "seal" clear spray ALONG with the sonax polymer shield over top of it overkill? Should I just do the sonax? The opti seal is like $30, same deal lasts like 6 months.

Also how often do you apply the sonax? Do you build a layers?

Thanks, i ordered a can. How often do you plan to "re-apply". I know it lasts months. But i usually use all purpose to do my tires and just soap on my wheels since i do them weekly and they don't get that dirty. I assume Some AP getting on the wheels will cut down on how long the sonax will last.

I myself go overkill sometimes with this stuff. Like the Adams H20 guard & gloss. They say to do it every 3rd wash or so. I find myself doing back to back sometimes because the gloss it provides is THAT good lol.

@B8S4 is the expert on the coatings.

Good call on the soap for wheels. I do the same. And APC for tires. Nothing harsh. I will do a few APC sprays on the wheels if its been a few weeks. And G&G is unreal good. Witchcraft good haha.
