    C5 door hinge bolt - INSIDE one

    On my car, the bolt that goes into the hinge FROM THE INSIDE is loose on the front driver side door.
    This allows the hinge to move and door hanging too low (scraping on sill, riding up on the lock catch plate).

    How can I access and tighten the INSIDE bolt?
    Does not seem that I can get to it with the driver kick panel removed.

    Suggestions? Tips? Links?

    02 Allroad 6 spd, Kraftwerk Turbo TM6, 750cc, 3" MAF, piggy, FMIC, CM stg 5 (hate). 30 psi at 3600 rpm. Needs stronger rods (coming).

    You would probably have to remove the wheel then the wheel liner

    It's got to be accessible from the inside. As its not accessible from the wheel well. Passenger side pic for reference:

    2002 S8 - Daily driver.

    Wonder how much have to be removed to get to this bolt if inside, under (top corner) of the dash?

    My driver's door sags, too, but it doesn't scrape (yet) and I haven't bothered to diagnose what's causing it. Guess I should look into this bolt...

    It should be accessible once you move all the wiring out of the way. If it's anything like the b5 there will be an access hole in the inner sheet metal, get in there with a flashlight and have a good look.
