Oil leak thoughts

(Okay working with a 04 A6 3.0) So I have noticed a oil leak under the car here recently. It's not major I'd say maybe 10 drops every 12 hours. I've looked all over underneath the motor and I'm not seeing anything under the engine bay. The only place I see oil dripping from is towards the middle of the car where the tail end of the tranny meets the drive shaft. I stuck my hand on top of the tranny the best I could and its dry. Do you guys have any thoughts. Since I'm using my cell I can't post any of the pics I took of the area that's leaking. Any tips on posting pictures from a cell phone then I can show you what I'm talking about.

Have you been able to determine what kind of oil it is? You can try putting some plastic like a grocery or garbage bag or some old Tupperware underneath to catch it and then see what it is. That'll definitely help you narrow things down.

If it's your output seal on transmission/ center diff you want to fix that asap as they only hold somewhere around 12 ounces of fluid. My S6 started as a drop and got progressively worse over a short amount of time.

The fluid looks to be a goldish color

Here are the pics. Pretty positive it's the input seal. Thank you so much for the advice to look at that.
