    Tial R770 O-ring size

Does anyone here know the size of the viton O-ring that is on the inside of the turbo inlet pipe and is responsible for sealing the pipe to the turbo?

I contacted Tial, but they couldn't give me the size.

I'm guessing it's about 2.25", but want to verify.

BUMP ... I would also like to know this. TiAL seems to be a bit of a PITA to get any information from lately.

lay it down on a flat surface and measure with a ruler inside and outside diameter. Re-measure after rotating the ruler by 90 degrees clockwise to ensure that o-ring doesn't lay on the surface ovaled (measurements should match in both positions). Measure thickness too but that should be obvious from (OD/ID)/2 formula.

Its seems to me the OD is 58mm and the ID is 52mm. The thickness seems to be 3.25-3.5mm (Its for sure bigger than 3mm and for sure less than 4mm

It could be the OD is just a tad bigger or the ID just a tad smaller. Hard to tell with my little ruler and eyeball.

This is for the Tial inlet off my 605v1 car. I believe and it seems to measure ID 2.25in. Not sure if the 770 has a different inlet.

The 770 has the same inlets, so this info. is perfect. Thanks!

    Tial R770 O-ring size

No need to measure. Its O ring #226. Got mine at ace hardware. They are an exact fit. Should be in their toolbox looking thing full of specialty o rings. 605 and 770 inlets are exact same

Tial ended up sending me two O-rings for free.

And this thread is full of good info, so it's a win-win here.
