    Question about wheel offset

Hi guys I'm thinking about to get a new set of wheel. I have Bilstein b16 on my car and I don't know what is the right offset for my A3 with 18x8j or 18x8.5j. Need Help!

The setup that I have in my mind is

    18x8j ET45+245/35 18

Will this setup fit my A3?

I have the same wheel specifications with 235/40-18 tires mounted on them. The actual width of the tire on the wheel is also affected by the wheel width, so your proposed setup should likely fit. That said, I do not see a real need to go to a 245 width tire. The OEM width of 225 is sufficient, I only chose 235 to provide extra protection to my new wheels.

I would use a lower offset for an 8" wheel. Personally if I were doing a 18" performance setup I would be looking a 18x9s with a 255/35. I ran spacers with my stock 19x8s for an effective +39 front and +34 rear. I'm currently running 20x9 +37s

I currently run 18 x 9 ET48 w/ 255/35 PSS. I used the ECS spacer test kit and discovered 6mm all around would be perfect.
