RS6 gearbox question

Hi, I'm currently driving a b8.5 S5 and looking to get an RS6 coz I tried my friends and it was so fun to drive. I looked around and heard the RS6 doesn't have dual clutch transmission tho. Is there a reason for this? Is there a huge impact? when I tried driving it and switching gears I did feel a little bit of difference. Not as quick as my S5 as my S5 is dual clutch. Just wondering why RS6 wouldn't have it? Coz I'm also checking what other options I got in this price range and the C63s Benz came up. Bi turbo V8 510hp with dual clutch.

because the RS6 has so much more torque they did not use the dual clutch

1st off it is 8 gears and cause its 8 gears you have launch control with the dual clutch you have a limit and in dynamic mode there is no lag

Isn't the c63s a single clutch?
