    Allroad front airbag question

    Hey guys,

So the other week I went out to my car to find the front end SLAMMED on the wheels. Couldn't even drive because it rubbed so much. Compressor was not getting air to the front bags. Took the car in after a few days and as soon as they turned the key the bags filled. The compressor is fine, they thought it was a leaky front left bag. So they put soapy water on the bags and left it for a few days. the bags didn't move and no bubbles. So I took the car back home and I've been driving it, and the front left bag is lower than the front right. The left side is about half an inch lower than the right side. But like I said, there shouldn't be any leaks? When I bought the car the owner had just put in arnott gen II bags up front. Does anyone have any clue why this would be or how I can fix this? Just bought new 19" wheels and want to put 255/40's on!

Sometimes being in higher levels like 3 or 4 can seal off leaks that are present in level 1. Would this be consistent with your situation?

Usually I leave it on level 2. The day before the bags completely dropped I had it on 1. Then at the dealership they had it on 3. So I've just been leaving it on level 2. But like I said no matter what that one bag is a half inch lower.

Did the dealer not do 402 adaptation?

I really have no clue what they did... I kept asking and they never gave me a straight answer. I had the car towed there because obviously it was sitting on the front wheels. And they said as soon as they put the key in the bags filled with air. Let it sit for a couple days and it was fine. Thinking about just buying my own VAGCOM and 402'ing.
