I have Ohlins on my car. But its time for a rebuild. And They are so effing loud its annoying.
I never track the car. And I drive in LA - stop and go - but love the late night driving. Mulholland. Canyons. Etc.
Heard mixed things -- what should I do?

For me the decision comes down to how long between rebuilds. If I drove on the Ohlins often enough to need rebuilds every couple of years I'd probably swap back to KW V3's. I think the Ohlins are better, but the V3's were nice enough and avoided the servicing costs.

I've never seen you in the area. I'm local to Mulholland and the area. I'd love to meet more local B5 S4'ers

I had PSI rebuild mine and the rears still rattle/clunk. I'm so used to it, it's not even a "noise" anymore haha

Did you ask psi to fix clunking too or was it basic rebuild? I have ohlins collecting dust in the garage.
Took them out , clunking was driving me nuts. I would like to send them in for a rebuild to psi, but if that doesn't resolve rear clunk I don't think I will be going thru with rebuild. I do love the shock spring combo I hope there is a way to fix that clunk.

I told them and they were modified to fix the rattle as well as upgrade the performance as well. Beau at PSI was surprised, actually shocked that they still make noise. I hade my rears rebuilt by them in 2013 if that helps at all. I never sent them back.
