    Wheel Fitment/Air Suspension

I've been trying to find the answer to my question all day, but i haven't found it, so i am posting my question for your help!

Currently, on my 2016 a4, i have stock 18x8 et 47 wheels wrapped in 225/40/18 tires.

I do have an airlift suspension, so with my current setup, i just air out, and my wheels tuck in nicely.

Being that they are stock wheels, they are a little thin, and not something i am growing to like. I want to add some more width, but keep the tires the same.

Looking to pull the trigger on a set of rotiform wheels, i cant decide between 18x8.5 (minimal difference) and 18x9.5.

My biggest concern is will the wheel tuck inside without any fender work? or will the fender rub against the wheel/tire on the way down.

What wheel size/offset will allow me to get the widest wheel, but still allow me to have it tuck inside when i air out.

I do want the 9.5 wheels, but im afraid ill run into problems with having them tuck inside.

Some of you may suggest a control arm kit to help bring the wheel in, which i was also looking at, but they dont seem to be enough camber. They all seem to only give about 1.5 degree of camber. Will that be enough?

    Your help is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

It is possible to tuck 20x10 wheels with the right offset and a slight fender roll, I've seen this in person, so do some research but 9.5s should be doable without rolling. I would suggest digging through the B8 Air Ride thread, the Wheels sticky, and Suspension Setup sticky to find some members running that setup. I'm sitting on stock sport suspension so I can't speak from experience. Best of luck!

If you want the widest you could probably go do 11's with a et40-45 and tuck with a 245/30 lol

If you plan on getting 9.5 a et35 would tuck easily

I've been searching through them all day, but it's slightly more difficult at work haha I am just scared to risk it. I mean worst case if I go with the 8.5 I could always space it out but I don't want to do that lol

Which air setup do you have? Who installed it? Maybe ask the vendor of air manufacturer for any pointers there, or call tag motorsports, they do a bunch of aggressive air setups

9.5" with a et35 is pretty safe to be honest, a 225 on a 9.5 will be stretched
I'd personally would run a 235/35. You could always call rotiform and ask them, they've done plenty of set ups for b8's
