New Audi member 2016 a6 3.0t

Picked this a6 3.0t s-line a little more than a month ago. Nougat interior, bose, s-line with 19s and led package. Amazing car so far, quite different from the srt I had. I detailed it with clay, jetseal and butter wet wax. No upgrades scheduled except for the tints but we'll see.

That was part of the "we'll see" I do miss having noise, this thing is so quiet. I definitely am not doing an exhaust. Doesn't look like theres a ton of intake options. Also looked into some tunes but its unlikely i'll get one.

Thanks hack, i caught your thread... your car is killin it. Which injen model did you go with in yours? I looked around ebay and saw some for a7 and s4 3.0s not a6s

edit: nvm i seen u used an A7 one, 2012+ same as 2016?

Injen, Roc-Euro, USP are the sub $500 options afa intake goes. I am using the roc-euro. Negative on the exhaust for me as well. For some reason, I woulld prefer an exhaust on a V8. Tunes- nothing out there is for the C7.5 3.0T engines unlike the C7 3.0T.

After seeing hacks video on the injens cai I am definitely interested in it and being $200 on ebay is a bonus. Just not sure if it fits my car or not.

After a few black on black cars I was tired of the exterior getting filthy every 2 days from dust and debris around my job. Now after a week it still looks clean from a few feet. The brown worked out perfect as I didn't want black or anything too light.

I had the Injen on my A7 3.0T. Opened up the super chargers beautifully.

You could always start with a K&N filter

You got it. I'm not 100% sure if there's a difference physically for the 16+. As far as I've read the difference was in the tune I believe... Someone will be able to chime in I'm sure.

Does the 2016 have the full digital instrumental panel like the 2016 A4's ? Saw one on the streets the other day, and it look pretty cool.

Nope you mustve seen a 2017 a4 as the 2016 a4 had a booty instrument panel

Just got home and it was on my door step. I'll throw it on before the weekend is over. The email amazon sent had the 2016 a6 3.0 listed as compatible so I'm not too worried.

I looked at the stock intake and the inner screw is under the engine cover so I'll either have to remove it or find an L shaped socket

The chrome on your intake looks awesome! And I didn't realize the 16+ has a different engine cover. Looks cool with your new intake.

Tried not to mess with it too much, figured you would've had it on yours? It rotated 90° but didn't come out easily so I left it in. That rubber hose was a real PITA, like a Chinese finger trap lol
