    Hello Audizine members!

I am very happy to be apart of a great community and hope to meet a bunch of new people and learn from you all!

I just purchased a 2009 A4 2.0T quattro and have a few odd things happening, that I am not sure how to fix or even where to start. I amean hoping someone on here can give me some help.

    Pertaining to the drivers door.
Other than the four window switches and the trunk switch, nothing else on the door works. The window does roll down and up with no issues, however neither of the lights work(underneath light and back red light), the alarm indicator does not work, the power window lock switch does not work, and the door will not lock or unlock using the key fob.

When I use the key fob it locks the trunk, and the passenger side doors, but neither door on the drivers side.

    What I have done
Checked all fuses, all are good. Removed wire harness from door to car and looked as best I could at the wires, seems OK from what I can see.

Any help would be very appreciated!

Between the door and the car the wire harness goes through a sort of rubber protective boot. Possible split or cut wires in there.Remove harness from car side to access rubber boot and hidden wires inside. Good luck

Thank you for your reply. Is there an easy way to access the wires after removing the harness from the vehicle side.

Push back on the rubber boot to expose the wires
