we did a little pre run of our own yesterday. we pushed the cars fast & hard all day long and they didn't miss a beat.

Next weekend we are expecting 85+ degrees and sunny weather with clear skies.

Dust off your ride, inflate those tires, put on some 93 octane in your tank and prepare for a great run. Deserted country roads and lanes, curves, hills, changes in elevation and several high-speed runs to test your car's performance, handling and top speed.

We will be communicating via Zello app providing turn by turn directions, prudent speed information and commentary. We will wait for stragglers and those with poor sense of direction.

This is not a race, this is not a cruise, this is a run. Just as the first one, this is going to be good, real good.

I would like to attend if you have the space. I did this type of Audi cruises with the Mid Atlantic AZ group quite a bit before moving out here and have been meaning to make a hiking trip to Starved Rock. Looks like the perfect oppourtunity.

I'm going to try to make it even though I drive an AMG. I don't get to drive the car much since I live in the city.

There's excellent trails in Starved Rock, Matthiessen and Buffalo Rock parks. I go quite often. You will enjoy the run.

I feel your pain. I used to live in the city...but no more. I live out here surrounded bycountry highways, roads and lanes. The only traffic happens when the light turns red, kids are coming or going during schooldays, and when the train comes by...never gridlock, man. I am sure you will have a smile plastered on your face...guaranteed....or your money back!

Thanks for posting the video, Adan. Those were the 40mph sharp 90° curves, too bad the guy on the silver car drives like an old man, right?

Thx for posting John, oops, I mean Adan. Interesting to see my car from the rear. I really enjoy those "closed course runs", nothing like it. Glad U made it, nice to C U again.
