Good Market Value for B9 *Should I Trade In*

Hello I am currently at the stage where I am wondering if it is time to upgrade or maybe wait a year or longer and would love some opinions.

    Current status:
2012 Audi A4 40k miles (average 10k miles a year), perfect condition, out of warranty as of last month, used all AudiCare services (15k, 25k, 35k, and 45k), OEM tires, I owe $13,000 left on the car, one dealership offered me $20,000 for it (just did my 45k service check today) so around $7000 in equity. No issues with the car. However I think that my car will need maintenance on breaks and new tires within the next two years or so. Questions: Anyone know lifespan of my current tires? I can't seem to find them anywhere (see signature for tire model), also anyone know how much I should expect to get out of my breaks either? Anyways new tires would cost me about $850 and I haven't priced breaks yet and the next maintenance in a year is going to cost about $500. A lot of small things adding to pretty big bucks within the next few years minus anything major happening since I'm out of warranty. So the question is do you think it would be in my best interest to trade in my current car and get a new build?

I am looking at doing a custom build, told the dealership what I wanted but I don't know if I am getting a good deal or notCapture.JPG

Basically was offered $2000 off of MSRP. I know the MSRP from my custom built car and the one he priced me for, he priced me on a car that is available and a little more expensive but the number should be about the same.
I know the B9's are really new so I know I may not get a banging deal right now and I am willing to wait, perhaps this December when they do the season of Audi deals. Anyways I don't know what dealer cost is for a car of this build but I am wondering what a good deal would look like and any opinions for that matter.

    Thanks

I have just placed an order on an A4 last month and was able to negotiate 7% of MSRP and got $2000 more on my trade-in than what the dealer had first offered.

If I understand your post, you are asking if you should spend $47,000 now on a new ride or a little less later? The real questions, repairing and maintaining your current ride or if you can afford it getting a new one?

Really, which will make you fell better?
