    Emergency AWE cooling kit questikn

My mechanic is currently installing the reservoir pump as the last piece of the AWE full cooling system. He is saying that it is impossible to install the pump with the stock exchanger still in place? The system is supposed to use both exchangers, correct???

He's referring to the stock exchanger that goes in the left side wheel well

ColdFront™ Drive Select Cooler (for B8 S4s with Audi Drive Select)

For 2010-2012 B8 S4s with Audi Drive Select, you’re going to need this. The factory Audi Drive Select Cooler snakes through the area where the ColdFront™ Heat Exchanger lives. But we fixed that. Our ColdFront™ Audi Drive Select Cooler places the new cooler in a safe new location beneath the crash bar.

What are you referring to as the stock exchanger, since you mentioned wheel well area? The new ColdFront should be the only exchanger on the front of the car.

I think he referring to the extra exchanger on the 2010-2012 cars behind the inlet by the driver side foglight

I don't think that's supposed to be a problem, you just need a better mechanic. Is he using the awe supplied instructions for the b8??

    Got it figured out! Thanks

It is the auxiliary pump behind the wheel well. It's supposed to replace the stock unit in there
