Hello everyone !
New here, i got a bit of a problem... i bought remote keyless entry system and i dont know how to install it ... or should i say where to connect it. My car is A3 L8 '98. I know that i should connect it using negative trigger and so i did tried to connect to brown plug located in left footwell. I used multimeter to figure out where should i connect the wires but all i managed to do is get the system working and lock the dors.... however once i clicked unclock button doors would still be locked... plus that left connector point which is in the left footweel doesnt have wires for blinkers at least thats what audi manual says.
So i tried to look for other ways and a lot of poeple were suggesting to put it near the locking pump however there are two of them on each side so how should i connect them? Can someone help me and tell me where should i connect this system ? im just lost... and for those who want to suggest me to give it to specialist well.... there arent any anywhere near me, otherwise i would have done that already.. thanks for the help!
