    NYC Shop Review- Tyrolsport

    Hello Everyone,

I recently got some work done on my 14 S4 from Tyrolsport and I wanted to leave a review, so it helps someone else who might be interested on doing a similar build.

I got a GIAC Stage 2 Tune and pulley, AWE S-flow intake, AMS Alpha cooler, SS brake lines and ST-60 380mm BBK kit installed at Tyrolsport and I am very happy with the results! The car pulls really well and the difference in the torque is definitely noticeable after the tune. Initially I wanted the RS5 380mm BKK, but Mike suggested looking into aftermarket BKK kit made for the car. I am glad I got the ST-60 over the RS5 brakes. The stopping power is insane and the pedal feels a bit more firm, which I like. Eventually, I will upgrade the rear brakes and look into a dual pulley setup for the car.

The service I got from Mike, Andre, and rest of the team was great. They did the install pretty quickly and gave me updates on how the work was coming along. Mike really knows his stuff. He is also an instructor, so he can be very helpful with choosing parts and what mods to put on when doing a build. For me, his advice was very helpful because I wanted to start going to track events with my car. He can also help you find events too! Their website has a section that gives information regarding events.http://www.tyrolsport.com/index.php?...page_id=racing

    I would strongly recommend Tyrolsport!

I do not have many pictures with me, but here is a shot of the BBK (sorry its not the best picture)

They are amazing at the work done. It's just there prices for most install mods are $$$$. But you pay for it done right the first time. And most indy shops are a risk if not knowledgeable and you know the mechanics personally.

Can you confirm this price. I was quoted $2300 for a stage II with pulley installed.

Exactly. Tyrol charges more than everyone else, but Mike knows his shit and you dont have to worry about your car being treated wrong or getting half ass work. The indie scene here can be very scary with some of the stuff ive seen come out of shops or have seen on my car after coming out from some of these shops. Half ass welds, Pinch bolts not tight, leaks saying they are fixed only to leak again a week later. Tyrol is somewhere i feel comfortable bringing my car.
