I want to get the AWE Pipes but thinking of another alternative. Any suggestions, not trying to break the bank.

Don't mean to jack your thread, but what is their besides the AWE for $8k and the Milltek for $2k-$3k? AWE sounds amazing but $8k is too steep. Milltek is priced well but I'm not in love with the sound. What other options are there?

I think you're confusing AWE with Akrapovic. AWE is going to be in the same price range as Milltek I believe... I'm thinking about grabbing one for the Golf R.

AWE Tuning is one of the premier tuning companies for Audi in the U.S. IIRC, it stands for Air & Water Enterprises.

Our Touring Catback (19159) is a quality exhaust system you can get without the euro-tax. For almost half that price, you get a fully stainless mandrel-bent system that is made 100% in the US with a lifetime warranty. We dont make the loudest and most aggressive exhaust out there, but instead go for a sound that is deep and refined, with volume intended for cars that are driven daily. You can find more info on it here:

    http://www.magnaflow.com/products?partNumber=19159

If you have any questions about it, let us know!

Boom, this statement is right on the money.

There's a reason why it seems like there's so many 3.0T vehicles equipped with one of our systems -- it's simply unparalleled.

They're no compromise systems. Our Touring Edition system alone will entice a strong grin while killing the frequencies the 3.0T was prone to emitting resulting in drone, thanks to motor-specific tuned resonators featuring our proprietary drone-canceling solution, 180 Technology®.

It responds to throttle response... so if you want to have a conversation, listen to music, have a phone call, or simply relax on the commute home, no problem. But when you drop the hammer it will provide an enhanced driving experience in and out of the cabin that you very well may become addicted to, and since you have a Prestige the quad tip route is available to you, too.

Handcrafted from start to finish out of mandrel-bent T304 stainless (not T409 -- click this to refer to Professor Overdrive's analysis of the two and their differences) right here in your home state -- there's no "euro tax" here, you pay for what you get. Quality sound, performance, and materials that enable us to provide our Fitment and No CEL Guarantees, and a lifetime warranty. Details, performance data, and video can be seen/read here if you haven't checked 'em out as of yet.

Here's a video of an individual sporting the Touring Edition system on his A7 (coincidentally it's a Prestige).

And here's our from the website just for good measure:

About 2K but it look like I am going to be spending 3K because I have to get the resonated downpipes according to AWE. That is where my problem is so to get an exhaust without it would be pointless.

    $$$$ I'm taking donations
