Does anyone have access to a shop manual or something similar to look up the gear ratios for the 2011 A5 2.0T 6MT? I know that The B8 A5 and the B8.5 A5 uses different ratios in the manual transmission, but I can only find the ratios for the B8.5 cars when I searched online.

If anyone is interested, here's the ratios for the B8.5 6MT in the A5:

    1st: 3.778:1
    2nd: 2.050:1
    3rd: 1.321:1
    4th: 0.970:1
    5th: 0.757:1
    6th: 0.625:1

    Final Drive: 3.693

Okay, thanks. I'm not sure why that doesn't match the ratios on the 2013 A5 brochure. I wonder if it's a typo on your link, since the S5 has the same exact ratios. I'd think they would be different, no?

And where did you find the B8 ratios? I looked all over and couldn't find them anywhere!

But I also don't remember the 8 and 8.5 having different ratios. But I also don't remember what I ate for lunch either

Yup, definitely different. What caught my eye was that they increased the MPG rating and I wondered why. Then I researched the gear ratios and discovered that they changed the gear ratios to make the B8.5 better in terms of fuel economy. The B8 had slightly more aggressive gearing though...
