Ross-tech Vag-com software and SKC number

hi everyone,
I have been digging up information at ross-tech vag-com software in learning how to use it. I followed the information and looked into my car purchasing folder. I found the dealer code (SWC) on the windows sticker. I have the plastic key with a transcluded white plastic attached to that has whole bunch of number on it. is this a SKC number?

No that is a key code. Your skc is a four number code which u will enter to login into vcds. U will need vag eeprom programmer to retrieve ur skc.
