These have not been redrilled the way that an average wheel shop does it, they bore out the hole larger and press in a steel sleeve insert.

These have been redrilled in the same manner as Rays Engineering themselves does it, since these are forged wheels and extremely strong already, the process of pressing in a sleeve was not necessary like what is needed for cast wheels. Rather, they bored out just enough material(2 millimeters) to open up the lug hole from the original 12 pitch to a larger 14 pitch, with that method the lug seat still retains its original forged material for the lug nut to apply the torque to when tightening.

Once the holes were done being drilled out they were then perfectly paint matched inside the lug holes themselves, so as I said, you really cannot even tell that they were ever redrilled. Very professional work was done to these wheels.

They fit great when test fitted over factory a4/s4 brakes, was even considering downgrading back to the factory brakes just so I could run the wheels lol. They fit pretty flush as is in this photo and my car is still on factory suspension, they would fit even better once lowered.

I've no doubt they would look amazing on your car, you would definitely stand out from the typical euro car that is rocking rotiforms/vmr/avant gardes

Here is an idea of what they would look like on an avant, this is the only other avant and maybe 3 audi/vw's I could find with CE28s. Definitely rare.

This image shows clearance of the wheel and fender on my car, non-rs4 fenders. With stock suspension, but once the car is lowered they'll fit even better maybe with the top of the wheel even tucking inside the fender. Some people prefer the flush look tho. This fitment is still with the car jacked up and in the air.
