Ok so long story short I installed an airlift 3p kit on my b8.5 allroad. LOVE IT, got the deal of a lifetime and did the install myself. Actually wasn't terrible, but I believe I caused an issue during the install. Ever since we finished up I have been having small issues. Took it to "my guy" for basically a VCDS full scan and diagnosis. The diagnosis was semi conclusive with plenty of fault codes pulled. It looks like I'm not getting proper power to a module or two. I have already disconnected the battery and the power from the airlift, non of which solved my issue. So even without the air system pulling power I still do not solve. I have a bunch of codes I can give you but I'll just start with the "fault priority" one and two.

Faults are in Address 53 "parking brake"

68352 - control module left channel voltage supply
c1012 14 (137) open or short to ground

68608 - control module right channel voltage supply
C1013 14 (000) open or shirt to ground

    10613248 - terminal 15
    U1405 00 (008) implausible signal

^^^Those are the fault codes with priority 1^^

Fault is in address 01: Engine

17403 - implausible data received from parking brake control module
    U0417 00 (032)

4629 - ECM power relay load circuit
    P068a 00 (032) - opens too early

10538 - Evap system leak detection or fuel vapor temp sensor
    P2024 00 (032) - electrical malfunction

10537 - Evap system leak detection or fuel vapor temp sensor
    P2026 00 (032)- signal too low

Faults in address 02: auto trans

13856 - wheel speed signal from abs control module
    P1887 00 (032) - implausible signal

Faults in address 03: ABS Brakes

00283 - ABS wheel speed sensor; front left (g47)
    012- electrical fault in circuit

00285- ABS wheel speed sensor; front right (g45)
    012 electrical fault in circuit

    Address 19: CAN gateway

00463 control module for digital sound pkg (j525)
    004 no signal/communication
(This is my least favorite causing only my speakers to not work but the head unit plays the music)

01334 door control module; rear right (j389)
    004 no signal/communication

    01303 telephone transceiver (r36)
    004 no signal/communication

Faults in address 46: central conv.

    00926 terminal 30
    011 - open circuit

    03123 terminal 30-2
    011 open circuit

01403 - glass break sensors; rear
    011 open circuit

0185 control circuit; relay for supply voltage terminal.
    011 open circuit

Sweet Jesus that's a lot. I hope somebody can shed ANY light on any issue. That is just the fault codes with priority one or two, like I said there are a bunch more. I'm kinda shitting myself here tbh. Two weeks of no info from my guy is hurting too. I can supply pictures of the vagcom information if anyone needs. Feel free to DM me or quote reply.

    Thanks in advance for anything.

I'd start by clearing them all and seeing what comes back. Sometimes a whole circuit string, which share a common ground, could all trip up.

When putting your system in, did you disconnect any ground wires or other wires at that?

Did you do any drilling? Did you ensure you didn't nick any wires in that process?

I believe he cleared the codes when he did the scan Initially.

I disconnected the ground and positive from battery and then attached power to the battery terminal then reattached.

Did no drilling, and only cut a single wire but spliced it back together and capped it. It was also only for a 12v socket in the rear.

After he cleared the codes, the same ones came back?

I can't say for sure but I I imagine he cleared codes, then rescanned and that was his findings after clearing first.

Check the J329 "Power Supply Relay Terminal 15", located on the relay panel under the dash, drivers side, about 12 inches forward of your left knee.

Also check the J317 "Power Supply Relay Terminal 30"". located in the fuse/relay panel under the hood, in the ECU weather-box near the base of the windshield, driver side.

How can I tell if the relay is bad?
